Yesterday morning, Alex woke up with a loose tooth! It's his first and we were very excited! It wasn't wiggling very much, so I figured I'd have enough time to "inform" the Tooth Fairy about his situation and gather something fun for him. Well, I didn't have much time at all! Within about 5 minutes time, he wiggled that thing non-stop and it basically fell out. Didn't hurt, barely any blood, amazing. He was very excited to write a note to the Tooth Fairy and put his tooth in an envelope. Here he is posing... He drew butterflies on the envelope because he knows girls like them . . . he's so cute.
And to his amazement, the Tooth Fairy snuck in his room last night and left him a little envelope as well! She wrote him a nice note and left him 4 quarters and 10 pennies, just enough to buy something fun at the dollar store. The Tooth Fairy was even cool enough to wash the money off so that his coins would be nice & shiny for him. She's awesome!
I'll admit - I'm a little weepy these days and I teared up a little when he came to me with one of his baby teeth in his hand. My little boy is growing too fast, but I love watching him get excited over the small and simple moments in his life.
Congratulations Ali!

Congrats Alex, hope you find something super cool to buy.
That is such a cute post! He is so cute. I can't believe those baby pictures of him and Livvy! Twins! She is so cute! I need to talk to you.
Congrats Alex! You are so lucky to get something from the dollar store. I want a report on what he picks out. I tried to convince Courtney to pick something at the Dollar store with her tooth fairy money, but she would have nothing to do with it. It all went into the "princess" bank.
What an exciting accomplishment to lose a tooth and get money:). I remember those days when we got money for losing our teeth. Now it's so neat because you can share that money with your son.
