I saw this on Ashley's blog and thought to myself, "how boring could my first 31 years have been?", and then I completed this list. I look around my house, see the full pile of dishes calling my name, take a second glance around to analyze who the offender might have been, but then remind myself that it doesn't really matter who dirties 16 plates a day. I realize that I haven't done too many fabulous things with my life in the eyes of the world, which is why today I remind myself that I'm doing the most important work within the walls of my own home. Work that my children will remember 50 years from now, work that will shape their lives and help them to know what is truly most important in life. Work, hard work, that I am proud, happy and privileged to do.
