Insanity

Thankfully we didn't have to move this weekend! But that doesn't meant that our weekend wasn't eventful...

Thursday, I had my OB appointment, which is out in Glendale, about 2 hours from here. We kept Alex out school that day so that after my OB appt. we could go over to the other house (which is only about 25 minutes from the OB) and clean it really good, just in case we did have to move this weekend. The OB appt. went great, all of my tests are coming out good and this little baby is super healthy. I've started to feel little "butterflies" which is always such an exciting time of every pregnancy.

So then while driving over to the other house, Tony looks at me, taps his pocket and tells me "I forgot the keys". Uh, what?! We're 2 hours from home and you forgot the keys to get in the house? Seriously dude. So we didn't get much cleaning done, other than hosing off the front of the house & spraying for bugs. Good times. Not.

We had to stick around on the west side for a few more hours because we had an appt. with an attorney to talk with her about the short-sale of our house. Because we owe about $75,000 more than the bank is getting for our house, that amount can be included as income, and therefore taxed. We'll be getting a nice bill from the IRS in the amount of about $23,000. Fantastic. So we talked with the attorney about different ways that we could avoid it. Bankruptcy, taking advantage of the Hope for Homeowners act, but our best bet is to claim insolvency when we get the bill from the IRS. Insolvency is when our liabilities (debt) is greater than the FMV (fair market value) of all of our assets. We're obviously upside down on this house, hence the $75,000 deficiency, we're totally upside down on the other house, as well as Tony's little car. Thankfully (kinda), we're insolvent more than the tax bill that we'll be getting, so we won't have to pay it. It's all kinda complicated, we'll have to work with a CPA when we have to file it, but it will all work out. SO THANKFUL.

Friday was pretty uneventful, as far as I can remember. When I was pregnant with Emma, and with this pregnancy, I have a hard time going to the bathroom. I know, gross, but I can't, my muscles just won't relax. And then my bladder gets so full and then I get really mad, and then I cry cuz I hurt so bad. Well, Saturday it got really terribly bad and I wasn't able to go all day long. So Tony ended up taking me to the E.R. and they put a catheter in (SO THANKFUL), did an ultrasound to check on our baby and did some bloodwork. Thankfully we were at my dad's house when it got to the point of my not being able to handle it anymore and my dad & his girlfriend watched the kids for us. The doc sent me home with the catheter and I have to see a urologist to find out what's wrong with me. This part of pregnancy is so NOT fun. Weird pregnancy symptom to have, but very few things about me are normal, so oh well. :) I'm doing OK now thankfully, just hope I don't have the same problem when we're in CA! We're leaving on vacation for a week & a half. SO STOKED, except we're not looking forward to the cold weather. We're 75* weather people :)

Hope you enjoyed this lengthy update. My camera broke on me (WAAA) and so I'll have to rely on my SIL's to take pics of us while we're on vaca. I'll see what I can talk them into.

Are you kidding? I'll switch you. If I sneeze, laugh, cough or make any sudden movements I pee my pants.

Thankfully this pregnancy hasn't been as bad or eventful as the first two! (No bed rest yet!) Hopefully YOURS will get better, too.

we also are short selling our home and no we won't get taxed from the irs but it is only because az is a forgiving state. Thank goodness and because we are poverty but we still have to wait two years bfore we get another home. But better than 5 or 7.

I also have driven allthe way to florence to check on our home and left them in my other car. So tell your hubby we all have done it.

Well, I'm glad things are working out with your house and that there's some way to get around paying taxes on a short sell. As for not being able to pee, I'm so sorry! Not like you don't have enough with your pregnancies already. I hope that the urologist can find a permanent solution for you!

Of course we will take all the pictures you want, and because you won't be behind the camera, you will actually have a vacation with lots of pictures of you!! We will even make sure to burn a cd with the pictures before you leave!

Oh, and the weather has been 75* hear this week also! Here's hoping it lasts!

I am so sorry you are having issues. I have never even heard of that problem. You will be in our prayers.

I am glad you are getting things worked out with the house, even if it isn't exactly what you want. Good luck!

Only a few more days! Woo Hoo!!

um...OW! I hope it gets taken care of soon. Now whenever I'm pregnant I will no longer complain about having to pee ALL the time.
