The Talk

Since Alex has now officially started school, Tony thought now would be a good time to have the talk about guns. Before then Alex never knew that we had a gun in the house and always spelled out g-u-n-s whenever we'd talk about it. Seriously, do I need to tell my little boy that some psychos hurt people with guns? As crazy as this world is, we thought it wise for Alex to find out what a "real" gun looks like, feels like and what to do if he ever sees one, finds one, or if someone at school has one. I was very proud of Tony and the job he did explaining it all to Alex. Tony totally scored some "cool dad" points that day!
I'm glad we have one. I pitty the poor sucker that breaks into my house & tries to hurt my family. I know how to use that g-u-n and won't even think twice before blowing a hole or two in 'em ... just an FYI :)
