Alex's Kindergarten picture

Here's Alex's first offical school picture. He melts my heart! I love his little half smile. It says "yah, I'm cool & lookin for trouble."

Yah, all your little girls are going to want this boy when they get older! Haha! He's not only stinkin cute, but he's a good big brother, a super smart boy and he enjoys helping me clean the house! His favorite thing to do is clean his room, then tell me to come & see it, first closing my eyes, and then surprising me. He really does a great job! He also lines up all of our shoes in the laundry room, picks up all of Emma's toys in the livingroom and even fluffs the pillows on the couch! He also is learning to open the door for his mom & sister. This little boy is sure going to make some sweet girl happy one day!

One day, Emma was asleep on the couch and I was sitting at my computer in another room. The house was quiet, so I called to Alex and asked him to come to me. He did and I asked him what he was up to. He told me that he was sitting on the couch next to Emma, that he put his hands on her head and was giving her a blessing. I had to stop myself from laughing while he was telling me about how he blessed his sister. We then had the talk about Heavenly Father's holy priesthood and who could give blessings. I was so amazed and very grateful that he knows what a blessing is and that there's power in it. Such an amazing little boy...

Today, he's my baby boy and he brings me more joy than I could have ever imagined. I love you Alex! :)
