We took Alex to SunSplash for his birthday. My dad, along with Ryan and Jessica (bro & sil) went with us. We had a GREAT time! We got there just as it opened, before the mass amount of people showed up. Emma was at the babysitters until around noon, when we took off to Ryan's apartment for lunch. Then Emma went back to SunSplash with us, where she didn't have any fun at all. She hates the water. Alex had a blast with all of the other kids there. He loved going on the BIG slides and kept asking to go on them again and again! I have so many fond memories of going to SunSplash with friends when I was younger. Back in the day, they played Beach Boys songs, but now they play all this hip-hop crap - way disappointing. In all, we really had a fun time, except for the sunburns that Tony and I got. OUCH! We even had baby SPF 50 on and the sun still got us! Thank you AZ sun, for once again scorching the crap out of me.

That looks like so much fun. I am so glad you got to do something like that. What a great way to enjoy the heat of the day.
Good times... I can't say that I miss the AZ sun burns as much as I miss AZ! : )
