So I taught my coupon class Saturday morning and it went well! Only 12 sisters showed up, which I thought was a pathetic turn-out, but I heard that it was a good turn out for our ward - how sad is that?! We also learned to do some simple crocheting and got some awesome tips on how to make perfect smoothies. Saturday was a lot of fun for those of you who missed out!! Perhaps not too many sisters showed up because the Saturday activity is held at the ward building which is 20 minutes from where I live (Magic Ranch) and gas is crazy expensive? Anyhow, the class went well. I felt like I bombarded everyone with a lot of information, but I typed & printed out a lot of it so that they could take it home & evaluate it on their own time. I know there are a lot of sisters in our ward whose families are struggling financially and I truly hope they learn the tricks of getting great deals on things that they need for close to nothing. I'm always happy to help anyone that needs pointed in the right direction and some tips on how to get started. It's all a little confusing at first, but well worth the effort the first time you see a 95% savings on your Fry's receipt!
If there's anyone out there that didn't make it to my class that would like to learn more about saving money, please let me know! I'd love to help - plus it encourages me to stay organized and on top of the sales! Saving money is FUN! :D

Connie email me the stuff you typed up. I am really interested in what you taught.
I'm glad that it went well...I'm looking forward to getting into it more! I signed up for a lot of the "free sample" things, now I just need to get Arron on fixing my printer problems so that I can start printing the coupons to my printer instead of into syber space!
I couldn't make it on Saturday (it was my husband's birthday), but I would love a copy of your handout. I need to save more money at the grocery store, so I can buy gas!!
we were dealing with the "stuff" we talked about when you came to VT me - but i do want all your fabulous info.
