This was so cute, I just have to share it.
Alex is growing so fast! He'll be 5 in a couple of months, and has just about outgrown his size 4 undies. They're so tight on him, the elastic leaves dents on his hips. So we made a trip to Walmart in search of new undies. Well, to his disappointment, the size 6 undies don't come with fun characters on them. We could only find just plain white. At first he totally resisted and said that he didn't mind his undies hurting him, but I had to insist that we get him some bigger undies. That's when I reminded him...
Connie: "Alex, what color undies does your dad wear?"
Alex: "White"
Connie: "Well, don't you want to be big & cool like your dad & have white undies too?"
ALEX: "YEAH! I WANT WHITE UNDIES JUST LIKE DADA!"

He couldn't WAIT to get them home. He carried them all over Walmart until we left. I washed them as fast as I could and as soon as he got out of the bathtub he put them on. That next morning, he ran into the bedroom to show Tony that now he has white undies just like him (even tho Tony wears his garments, close enough!) This picture is of Alex and his new undies. He's kinda unhappy in the picture because he just wanted to get his clothes on to go to Preschool, but mean ole mom made him pose with his new undies on.

Aren't you thankful for good coupon Karma? I went to WalMart when we were done and I just got home like an hour ago. I wandered around the store aimlessly, and I am still not sure what I bought. I had a diet pepsi max on my way to CVS so I am wired tonight.
