Since Wednesday was Tony and I's wedding anniversary, I wanted to post our story that day. Therefore, today you get this weeks edition of Wedgie Wednesday.Saturday, the kids and I went with my dad to Superstition Springs Mall where, against all better judgement, I allowed my kids to play in the playland with all 75 other screaming kids. When Alex was little, it never failed that the day after I took him to the mall to play, he would end up sick and then I would get it. And last weeks visit was no exception. Alex fought a good fight and hasn't gotten sick, but poor Emma still has a runny nose and isn't feeling up to her sweet little fabulous self. I, as well, have had a runny nose for days, a little bit of a sore throat, a nice big cold sore in the corner of my mouth, and nasty allergies to top it off.
My wedgie this week is my cold sore. I think cold sores are the worst symptom of being sick that man has ever been cursed with. It's huge, ugly, painful and takes like 2 weeks to completely heal and go away...and not even make-up can cover it up. I asked my doctor for a prescription to help heal it and even with insurance it was going to cost me almost $18.00 for a 10 day supply! I don't think so! Thank you, freakin' cold sore, for allowing me to look super ugly at my friends wedding this weekend, where I'm bound to see tons of old friends!
Thankfully, my children still think I'm pretty, even tho Emma keeps trying to poke at it. And my hubby will still kiss me, even if it is only on the right side of my lips. Now that's true love.

Garbage pail kids are the best! Abbreva works awesome. I have coupons for it. I might even have some around here. I had 3 cold sores a month or so ago after I went to the denitst. I feel for ya!
i dooo remember garbage pail kids. :oP grooooss picture. I'm sure you didn't look that bad!! I'm so glad you're going to do the Sedona blog with me! I don't have a set date to finish yet. I think I'll take a poll once we get enough people. Also, October road is still around... i think they already had the season finalie... not sure, it's on Monday nights at 9 when it's on tho. :o)
