Mom playing Thomas the Train with Alex - their favorite thing to do together. When Alex prays, he still asks Heavenly Father if his Mimi could come down and play trains with him. He knows she'll be back!
This is a beautiful picture of mom, with my brother Ryan & his wife Jessica on Easter Sunday, 2006.
My mom passed away February 4th, 2007, a year ago tomorrow. It's hard to believe that time has gone by so fast. I have my days... when I feel like falling apart, I put another band-aid on and go about my business as usual. I don't know exactly how many band-aids are holding me together, but at least they are. I am grateful for my testimony and knowledge of the Plan of Salvation, knowing that we'll get to see my mom again, someday soon. And forever grateful and endebted to Jesus Christ, who made FOREVER families possible. I know that mom's doing great work for our Heavenly Father and that brings joy to my heart. We love and miss you mom!

Wow, I'm glad I logged on today. You are full of inspiring words. I'm getting a little teary eyed. I'm sorry for your loss, but happy we share the same belief in the plan of salvation. :o)
