Christmas 2008

I know, I know...Where have I been? Nowhere really, just not movtivated to sit down at my computer when the rest of my house is a mess! I've got one of those type A personalities that doesn't allow me to sit down & relax unless 99% of my house is looking good. And it isn't. Therefore, I have forced myself out of bed early (earlier than I wanted to get up) to get these posts to you TODAY. So I hope you enjoy them!!

Here's a few of Alex and Emma playing at them mall - I take them there often to escape my unbearable mess here at home... :)

My studly hubby even joined us on one of his days off. Horray for family fun!

CHRISTMAS!

Here's our little livingroom, before the kids woke up...and Tony helping Emma with some of her presents.

Silly Emma...don't you love her morning fro?! She's such a little character!

Alex and Emma (and especially me) LOVE the wagon that Mom Reese bought us for Christmas! It's already got tons of miles on it!

Emma got a new little kitchen for Christmas. She absolutely LOVES it. She tried to cook up her new dolly...we'll have to make sure she doesn't try to cook up her new baby sister!

Alex got a spy set, hence the super cool glasses, and my dad bought him Wall-E (dumbest movie EVER, in my humble opinion), he loves it!

After a fun family morning and cinnamon rolls at home, we headed over to my dad's house, where we opened a few more presents.

Super sweet Emma waiting patiently for her presents . . . she got a cute monkey from Ryan & Jess! She really loves it. It's one of her favorite "babies".

Alex got a super cool Batman laptop! He seriously loves that thing. He's my little academic, such a chip off the ole block. Love it!

After a nice Mexican feast at my dads, we all went and looked at a fun neighborhood decked out with lights. It was such a great day. And we were thankful that Tony had the entire day off, too, which doesn't happen very often with his schedule! Remembering the true meaning of the season was most important . . . I wouldn't have traded our day for anything. :)
