Thankful Thursday

There comes a time in every girl's pregnancy (at least all of mine) that her body takes over against her will and completely beyond her control. First it comes with tender ta-ta's, morning/afternoon/night sickness, insomnia, the gaining of a few pounds, expanding waistline, increased medication intake, aches and pains, food cravings, out-of-control emotions, and then for me, the beloved inability to go potty. Talk about humiliating. I had to go to the ER and tell them that I couldn't pee by myself. Yah, a little embarrassing. But it seems that my problem has now shifted to the complete opposite end of the spectrum! Now days, every time I laugh, cough, get thristy or move too suddenly, I wet myself. I can't help it. Tony thinks it's gross, but that makes me laugh even harder, and then I have bigger problems than just a little tinkling going on.

So my thankful Thursday is dedicated to Kotex. Thanks to couponing, I have acquired 50+ small packages of Kotex pantiliners and am now fully prepared for those uncontrollable body surges. I am thankful that I don't have to wash my G's as many times as I would have to without them. I'm thankful that they're desecrate and semi-comfortable. Furthermore, I am thankful that they're small enough to keep in my diaper bag or in my pocket. Thank you Kotex, for being there when I need you the most.

Alright baby girl, what's next? You gonna come out and make me have a month long period?

Bring it on.

LOL! I've had that problem before...if it gets too bad switch over to the poise pantyliners, they're actually designed to catch pee, lol. Also, if you are going to laugh/cough/sneeze, cross your legs, it helps a little. Best of luck!

I only wish the problem went away after having the baby. Unfortunately for me, after baby #3, it became a permanent part of my life. No jogging, no jumping on a trampoline, and heaven forbid I should watch a really funny movie!

I am with Heidi. I have 4 kids and I don't think I will ever be able to do any of those things without peeing. It is actually pretty entertaining during my exercise/dance class. It will never be the same again! Good luck!
