Our poor sweet Emma has had a high temperature the past few days. I took her to the pediatrician on Wednesday and he said it's probably a virus because she's not showing any other symptoms. We've been keeping on top of giving her Motrin so that her fever doesn't spike, but when it does, it's about 103*. Scary! She's every happy & playful when she's not feverish, but so lethargic & cranky when she is. It's so so sad. Tony gave her a blessing the other night. So thankful for the Priesthood!
Speaking of which... One Sunday, our Relief Society President was giving us a lesson on the Priesthood and told us that she had talked with our Bishop and they decided that it would be wise if each woman in our ward had her own small bottle of consecrated oil. Reason being that we never know when we're going to need the Priesthood to bless us, nor (unfortunately), can we always count on Priesthood holders to be prepared. So, when Tony went to give Emma a blessing the other night and had no clue where his oil was, he asked me if I knew where mine was, to which I replied "OF COURSE!". :) I also keep an extra small bottle in my diaper bag as well, just in case we're on the go and need it. So thankful for inspired leadership!

Such a great idea! It's so sad to see our little ones feel so awful. Such a helpless feeling.
