So today is the big day. Unfortunately, I've had to spend the day at work, by myself, so bored, so lonely. I keep thinking about my mom... how she would be spending the day with me. I probably would have taken the day off of work so that we could go to lunch and to the mall to pick out a cute outfit for my birthday. And how she would be making fun of me all day long for turning the big 3-0, and ranting about how she's still 24. She's so funny. At least I get to spend the evening with my family. Tony, the kids and I are going over to my dads house and his girlfriend, Veronica, is making me a special birthday dinner. Ryan and Jessica will also be there to spend the evening with me. My in-laws in California have also sent their birthday wishes. I love all of my family - they're so good to me, we're good to each other. My twenties have been very .... overwhelming. I'm excited to see what the next decade has in store for me. Thanks to all of you who have wished me a Happy Birthday. It's been a good day.

Connie, you are making me cry left and right. I hope that you had a good birthday. My mom and I tried to call but you had already gone to work. I love your cute blog! I need you to coach me you pro.
Connie, we love you and are thinking about you on your birthday and this whole week. Can you believe you are joining the 30 croud. You are making me cry too. I was to be there to wrap my arms around you and give you a big hug. Then I would take you shopping!! Your Mom was so great and I know it was sad to think of her but isn't it great that you have wonderful memories and isn't it fun to think you can still picture exactly what she would do. She is always with you.
We love you over here!

I didn't know it was your birthday!!! (i don't think i did... did i?) I saw you that day! You should have told me! And I know you don't think you should have, but when you turn 30 you should where a SHIRT that says I'M 30 TODAY! ...i love birthdays. Well, happy BIG 30!! That is so exciting. You fit right into our ward. I think we're all turning 30 this (or last) year!
Your blog is adorable. You'll have to teach me a few things. I'm going to put you on my friends list on my family blog (there's a link to it from the ABC blog, if you haven't seen it)... is that ok?
Happy, Happy Birthday Connie! My 30th is fast approaching...a couple weeks out. For the most part it hasn't bothered me, but there have been a few moments where I have paused and sadly thought...."I am sooooo old." You need not worry, you must have great genes...I'd a pegged for you early twenties!
Love ya,
Elizabeth
Its a late Happy Birthday - but I will wish you one anyway because we all like to hear it. My big 30 was made a big deal by a great friend of mine, but I much rather would have spent it with Ken. The next 10 years has plenty for you! Just wait and enjoy =-) Thanks for being a great V.T. - I wouldn't have gotten to know you otherwise and I am glad I do.
